Creating a New External Verification

Created by Support Agent, Modified on Mon, 19 May at 11:52 AM by Support Agent

From your Dashboard, click on Verifications.

You will be taken to a Verifications List page.

This page will show you the results of any Verifications you have already created.

It will also allow you to create new ones by clicking on the button to the right of the screen:

When creating an EXTERNAL VERIFICATION you will need to provide your customer's first and last name and also an email address.  The email address will be used to provide them with a verification request.

Note that your customer is NOT contacted at this stage.  They will only be contacted when you choose to send an email from later in the process.

You should fill in your customer's first and last name and also provide an email address:

Once you press submit, you will then be taken to the External Verification record.

On the Summary Page you can see that the External Verification has not yet been opened by your customer.

At this stage that is the case because they have not been notified.

If you wish, you can also add additional questions to the request.

This feature is accessed by clicking on Additional Questions and then you can add questions:

When creating a question you can simply type a question that you wish your customer to be asked (as part of the process) and also indicate if an answer is required or not.

To send the request to your customer, there is an email button at top-right of the screen.

You can select to send a NOTIFY or REMIND email.

A NOTIFY email will notify the customer of the verification request and provide them with a link to complete such.

A REMIND email will remind the customer that they have an outstanding verification request.

A sample NOTIFY email is below:

A sample REMIND email is below:

Once your customer completes the verification, you will be notified by email and also receive a PDF report.
